Luce County Communities That Care

Mission

The Luce County Communities That Care is a positive and inclusive collaboration that invests time into creating a healthy community through education, resources, and support.

Vision

Luce County is a strong, thriving, resourceful community that prioritizes health and well-being for all.

About The Communities That Care Model

Communities That Care (CTC) is a community-based 5-step process that uses a public health approach to identify and address risk factors and promote protective factors to prevent problem behaviors in young people. These problem behaviors include substance use, violence, delinquency, school dropout, teen pregnancy and depression.

The day-to-day work of the Luce County Communities That Care (LCCTC) Coalition is guided by multiple workgroups and committees with support from our community champions and key leaders.
