Emergency Preparedness

LMAS Emergency Preparedness Program

The Emergency Preparedness Program focuses on how to prevent, protect, respond and recover from natural, chemical, biological and radiological threats that could be associated with our communities. We continuously update our plans and policies and actively engage in exercises alongside local partners to access and address community risks.

Being prepared means building crucial partnerships. We work closely with Local Emergency Management, Region 8 Healthcare Coalition, Law enforcement and EMS, hospitals, schools, pharmacies, tribal and state partners.

When it comes to preparedness, we all have an important role to play—- learn how you can protect yourself and your loved ones by taking steps to prepare for potential emergencies.
