Mackinac County School Based Health Services

Mackinac County School-Based Health Services provide students with accessible, high-quality care right in their schools. We offer three convenient locations in Mackinac County where students can receive essential health services.

Safe Haven E3, located within Les Cheneaux Community Schools in Cedarville, provides  mental health services for students ages 5 to 21.

Eagles E3, based at Engadine Consolidated School, shares a similar mission—prioritizing student mental health and emotional wellness. The program creates a safe, welcoming environment where students can openly discuss their feelings, build coping skills, and receive the support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Additionally, SAINTS Health Center, operated by the LMAS District Health Department in St. Ignace, is a school-based health center dedicated to delivering comprehensive medical and mental health services to students and young adult ages 5 to 21.

These services help eliminate barriers to care, ensuring students stay healthy, engaged, and ready to learn.

Our goal is to provide care in a familiar and supportive school-based setting. To access services, parents or guardians must complete the required consent and referral forms, available on this page. For mental health services, a referral form must be submitted before scheduling an appointment, allowing our therapists to review and determine the best course of action.

By integrating health services within the school environment, we strive to support students’ overall well-being, helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom.
