Schoolcraft County School Based Health Services

The LMAS District Health Department is proud to offer The E4 Project – Emeralds Expanding & Enhancing Emotional Health to support the well-being of students in Manistique Middle/High School. Designed specifically for students aged 5-21, this program provides school-based mental health services in a familiar and accessible setting.

Our licensed therapists, Brandi Brewster, LMSW, and Rachel Harmon, LMSW, are dedicated to helping students navigate life’s challenges, develop emotional resilience, and build healthy coping skills. By bringing mental health care directly to the school environment, we strive to create a supportive space where students feel heard, valued, and empowered.

To access services, parents or guardians must complete the necessary consent and referral forms, which can be found on this page. For mental health support, a referral form must be submitted before an appointment is scheduled, ensuring that our therapists can assess each student’s needs and determine the best course of action. By prioritizing emotional well-being within the school setting,

The E4 Project helps ensure that every Emerald has the opportunity to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
